Windows Vista How To: Add Additional Clocks

With Windows Vista additional clocks, we can display the time for any time zone we wish. This is an ideal feature when we need to keep track of the time in multiple different countries at once. This feature is very handy. If you have contacts (friend, clients, partners or coleaguas) in the different time zones, you can check out the current time in their time zone before interacting with them. However, Windows Vista only allows for two additional clocks for other time zones. well, it may seem a little limiting, but it’s certainly better than nothing.

Follow the steps below to add Additional Clocks:
1. Go to Date and Time menu by Start Menu > Settings > Control Panel > Date and Time
Or Right click on your system tray, select Adjust Date/Time

2. Select the Additional Clocks tab.

3. Check the show this clock box to enabling an extra clock, select your designated time zone from the select time zone drop down list.
4. Enter Display Name; you can sign a name such as US Time, England time, or whatever name you like.

5. Press Apply, then OK.

6. Finish

Now you have two additional Clocks. To see the the additional clocks, hover your mouse over the system clock in system tray, and you'll see additional time zones appear in little pop up window.
